I’m back in Kumasi, having left my phone charger in the hotel in Accra. So I bought a new one today, and am trying to figure out how to get back into a good swing of things, research-wise.

My apartment was not ready for me when I arrived, so I am in another small apartment on the same property. Things are pretty much as I left them, and even though it seems to me like I’ve been gone for ages, most people seem to think it was around 3 weeks. So here I am in the internet cafe, listening to Barrack Obama get inaugurated with a bunch of Ghanaians who are also tuning in inbetween the emails. There are smiles and a few claps as he is sworn in, and I find myself dwelling on where I will eat dinner, seeing as my kitchen is not really set up yet.
