This is a notification of scheduled downtime for all hosted eco-monkey sites (such as ecogrrl.org) to upgrade the systems and services. This downtime is pencilled in for the weekend of May 3rd, but I’ll give everyone a 30-minute notice before I start. Check back here for further news on this upgrade.
All sites and services, including all personal blogs, will be unavailable for at least one hour. Some testing will be required once the upgrades are complete, so please wait for the “all clear” to be posted once the sites are back up.

We’re going ahead with this upgrade this weekend. The entire Eco-Monkey World Domination presence will be unavailable from 2PM until the upgrade is done. I expect the upgrade will only take an hour or so.
Update: not upgraded yet. The site admin decided to go for a long bike ride instead of setting up OpenBSD 4.3.
Upgrade rescheduled indefinitely, or until I get a shitty day and have to stay inside.
(Or until the next 3hr warning.)
Consider this the 3 hr notice for the upgrade. Because of hilarity with my upstream provider, I may as well do this now.
