Okay, so there’s lots of stuff that I’ve been meaning to talk about, and a few things that I should talk about, so this might end up being a bit of a grab-bag entry.
First, I’ve put clvrmnky on a bus; he is on his way to Accra today, boarding the plane home tomorrow and arriving in Canada on Friday. It wasn’t an especially emotional scene, but I do confess to getting a little choked up and pretty sad. Also, this means that you guys are on the hook again. More emails! More comments!
To aid in the communication stuff, I have a phone number and a P.O. box. I have the assurance of the parcel manager at the post office (who has also lent me his P.O. box) that packages will arrive safely to me. So…. if you want to send me a care package, that looks like it will be possible. I’m going to make a wish list soon. In the mean time, write if you want my address. Also, send me your address if you want a post card. Assume that I don’t have your address even if you really think I do because I’m you’re next of kin, or have been to your house a million times, or whatever. I know lots of addresses, but not that many postal codes. So send me your address. Especially if you have kids that would like to receive postcards, because I’ve got a bunch already written (you probably know who you are).
About my living situation, which my mother points out I have not described, I will post soon. This internet connection is flaking out, so I want to post what I have now.

She loves to write, is on the computer every day. Says she is writing two books, and likes to journal. She is 11, and according to her mother, Kathy, does very well in her classes.
