update
I’ve got everything working (I think) except for the preview on the comments. I’m going to try to sort that out over the next little while, but we may just have to live with it depending on how much time I have.

Okay, as many of you have noticed, I screwed up the code for my blog. I was trying to install a cool template, and the template had an error. Anyway, I’m trying to fix it now, but the nature of textpattern (my new software) is that this fixing will all be live. So if the site looks really weird, that’s why.

Testing, testing…
The odd thing about the comments-preview thing is how the system insists on a preview at all. Would it be easier to just bypass that and implement direct posting of comments?

Matt, you talk like you think that I know something about how this software works. I fudged it because there was a mistake in the stuff I copy and pasted in, and then I fixed it by copying and pasting different stuff back, and then deleting some stuff, and it’s not quite where it originally was :)

It may not be relevant for this little site, but those systems that have a direct-publish button to bypass previews generate terrible comments. Between over-heated flames and speling misteaks the entries start to look a little funky.
